Question: [6/5, 9:15 PM] XXXXXXX Kumari: Good evening sir my baby body weight is 14.87 kg ,she is having high fever of102 after every 4 hrs since yesterday

What matters is the activity level of the child when the child is not having fever. If the child is active and playful when not having fever, the child is likely having a viral infection and giving antibiotics would be pointless and antibiotics do not kill viruses but bacteria. If the child is lethargic when not having fever, you need to rush the child to a local doctor and get tests like blood counts, CRP (C-reactive protein) done. For fever, it is likely to come intermittently over the next 5-7 days irrespective of treatment. You have to give Crocin when the child is having fever. If it does not help, you can try Ibugesic (Ibuprofen) syrup or Meftal P 5ml as required. Also give tepid sponging (do not use ice water, use lukewarm water).
