Posted on Thu, 22 Aug 2024
Question: Hi doctor! Apart from my low anemia I have other questions as well.

I am 35 years old female and I don’t have any kids yet. Now i am worried about what I am listening from the people that if you dont get pregnant before 35 years of age then there will be more issues to life after getting pregnant after 35 years of age such as life threatening during pregnancy period and while delivery and also also women who get pregnant at or after are prone to breast cancer and other cancer as well.

And I have tried getting conceive but I don’t know why I am not getting pregnant.

Brief Answer:
You and your husband both need to be tested as mentioned below

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

Along with routine blood tests ultrasonography’ ,hormones levels progesterone, fsh, inhibit ,AMH and your husband should get semen analysis, sperm function test, even history of alcohol or tobacco maters ,meds history, contraceptives history will be needed. It can vary from simple that is improper time of conception, should be 14 days before periods starts for regular 2 days before or after or may be more. For anaemia continue meds as prescribed and eat foods rich in iron .Risk of breast cancer is small its actually 45 years where its maximum, still you can for mammography but can be pregnant . Moreover childbirth or baby have more complications after 36 years . But there are thousands at age of 35 having normal pregnancies. Take follow ups from good gynaecologist from hospital. Eat healthy and antioxidants, multivitamins fruits, veggies, juices all good, less stress more smile are key to normal hormones means normal pregnancy. Do deep breathing exercises ,pranayama are good too.

Hope this helps, let me know for further assistance
Thanks
