Question: Can you help me understand my blood work? It shows I have a high MPV (12.9) and low vitamin D (6), but I don't understand what this means. I have attached screenshots of the results for additional context. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for your question. Hope I can be of help for you today. MPV means platelet volume is the mode of the measured platelet volume. In your blood test CBC platelet is normal so we are not concerned with MPV because normally we do not use this test for routine part of the CBC test. It is related to technical problems associated with the accurate measurement of MPV.

Vitamine D deficiency you can take Vitamin D and Ca supplement.
