Question : i unexpectedly become extremely weak and tired and then i faint. (Syncope) However, after i faint, i feel completely exhausted for days on end and i am unable to function or work. I have been to the ER several times and they always run a cbc, ekg and other tests, but nothing shows up as abnormal. any ideas on why i have these symptoms?? There seems to be no real trigger, i take lots of vitamins and supplememts. I am 58 years old and past menopause. Thank You Sherri D.

Brief Answer:
I would recommend as follows

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to a metabolic disorder or epilepsy seizures.

For this reason, I'd recommend performing a brain MRI, an EEG and checking thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction.

I would also recommend performing a cardiac ultrasound in order to examine your heart's structures.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests!

Hope you will find this answer helpful! Wishing you good health.
