Question: I'm experiencing a fever and vomitting since my covid shot yesterday. I feel awful. I'm looking to talk with a doctor and get a note for tomorrow for work so I can rest. I've been up since last night sick.

Hello and thank you for your question. Hope I can be of help for you today. Covid 19 Vaccine elicited systemic adverse effects (fever, chill, headache, fatigue, myalgia, joint pains, vomiting). For your fever and vomiting you should rest at home getting acetaminophen to decrease your fever. You should report to your vaccine providers to be responsible for reporting vaccine adverse effects that you have. If You are so sick and affect your activity, to be safe you should stay at the hospital.
