I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. There could be a number of causes for abdominal pain. I would be in a better position to guide you anything if you answer following questions please:
1. since when are you having pain?
2. does pain radiate from one side to any other side?
3. any history of nausea, vomiting or fever?
4. any history of constipation or diarrhea?
5. Does pain aggravate or relieve with food?
7. are you on any medication?
8. any history of diabetes, hypertension, heart problem or other illness?

2. Have at other times in my time being diagnosed with ibs gastritritis and hypylori felt the same mild pain on lower right too

4. When first diagnosed with ibs 10 years, i do have episodes of both soft stool and hard stool. Recently since Last wed. Been alternating between soft stool and hard stool.

8. History of ibs h pylori flare ups and gastritis
9. Have had heart burn earlier in the week and sore throat which is why I started taking nexium on Saturday. My apetite has been not as good last couple of days

thank you for the reply. first of all please accept my apologies for a delayed reply. i had network problem so was not able to check your reply. your pain symptoms are due to underlying GI problem(ibs and gastritis). the best management for these two conditions is to avoid the aggravating factors and take general care. following measures will help you in reducing the pain:
General:
> stress is a potent stimulatir of IBS. Stress is in everyone's life but if it overpowers you then it will start causing problem. So try to remain calm and stress free.
> Go out for a walk in the evening for 30-45mins
> If stress is severe then you can visit a psychologist for "Cognitive behavioral therapy" who will guide you relaxation techniques.
2. Dietary Advise:
> Take high fiber diet (peas, beans, broccoli, etc) including psyllium (ispaghul hask)
- take small frequent meals.
- take 30-45mins walk/exercise daily in the evening. It will make you fresh, healthy and is good for digestion.
- Don't lie down immediately after taking meal
- raise head end of your bed slightly(by an inch)
- Eat a diet rich in fiber, especially from fruits and vegetables
> AVOID:
fatty & oily food.
spices
heavy meals at night
carbonated & caffeine drinks
chocolates.
3. Medical Advise:
> Loperamide 2 mg orally thrice a day
> If there is element of stress then i would suggest you to consult your doctor for anxiolytics.

You are welcome. Hopefully your problem is due to existing problem. So by following above mentioned steps you will hopefully see improvement. Meanwhile do get an ultrasound abdomen done to rule out any other cause of pain. You should not worry because stress will aggravate your condition.
