Question : I have had a heart rate at 100 or a bit above for around 24 hours. Little energy. Some diaharria (sp?).My temp last night was 99. Haven't eaten much. Fatigued.
Supposed to travel in a few hours. Wondering if it is wise. Work and family stresses a factor. Usually very healthy. Ate very spicy food 36 hours ago, which may have been a factor in diaharria.

Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Your symptoms seem to be related to a possible infection (gastro-enteritis).
The increased heart rate could be related to the fever or dehydration and electrolyte imbalance caused by the diarrhea.
Coming to this point, I would recommend taking plenty of fluids and rehydration solutions (electrolytes) to help avoid dehydration.
You will feel better in a couple of days.
If your situation does not improve in the next days, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:
- A resting ECG
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR
- Blood electrolytes
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
