Question : On 5th of XXXXXXX I had unprotected sex with my GF and at that time within 72 hours she use Unwanted 72 pills and after a couple of weeks she had her period normally. And on 9th of July we again had unprotected sex and she again use Unwanted 72 but on 26th of July her period was moderate last only 3 days. On August month we haven't had sexual intercourse but its almost the end of the month she haven't yet have her peroid. I'm worried, Is she pregnent? Please suggest me.

Brief Answer:
Serum beta hCG blood test

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to healthcare Magic.

I have gone through your query and Would like to reply in detail as follows:

1. Let me tell you that Unwanted 72 does not confer complete protection against pregnancy and is likely to fail.

2. But since the last menstrual period was on 26th July, it is possible that it might get postponed by a day or two. Hence you can wait for another 5 days.

3. If you are worried, please get serum beta hCG blood test done to confirm pregnancy. It is accurate to predict pregnancy.

4. If beta hCG blood test is negative wait for the periods to occur.

I hope your doubt is clarified. Let me know if you wish any other information.

Regards,
Dr. Soumya

Hello Doctor, Sorry to bother you again but I have to make sure whether pregnant or not. As I have already told you that last menstrual period was on 26th of July and last for 3 days (moderate not normally). And its the month of Sept but on August month menstrual period does not occur. Even have done pregnancy test through a device called accutest hcG from the first urine of morning for 2 consecutive day (that is on 1st and 2nd Sept) and the results shows negative. What wrong with menstrual period that suppose to occur in the month of August. Please help.

Brief Answer:
Serum beta hCG

Detailed Answer:
Hi

The period is delayed due to minor hormonal changes.

The pregnancy chances are unlikely.

You wait for another week for periods to occur.

If you are very much tensed get serum beta hCG blood test to rule out pregnancy
