Question : i have had a mild iritation iside one breast off and on for a few weeks now. GP couldnt find any lump. Im 37 and have breast fed 3 kids. No cancer in family. General heathy.Its not itchy, but more that I keep poking at it. Its not painful, just iritating.

Brief Answer: Please get an Ultrasound to the breasts Detailed Answer: Dear Ma'am, Thank you for sharing your query at XXXXXXX Although your GP could not find a lump in the breast, there are some lumps which can only be picked on an imaging test and considering your age, it is better that you get an ultrasound of both the breasts. This will not only help in ruling out lumps which are not palpable but will also give you a baseline imaging test of your breasts. If the ultrasound is normal, this irritation and pain could be just due to hormonal variation and will settle down with time. Hoping for the best. Please feel free to clarify any other query.
