Question : I am 58 years old I exercise 6 days a week for 80 to 90 minutes I had a complete check up my wbc 3.4 normal range 3.8to 10.8 rbc 4.59 platelets 169 mean platelet volume 8.7 abs neutrophils1850 abs lymphocytes 970 monocytes 10 I than took a second wbc test and it was 3.7 However the Dr told to take another wbc test I am worried Everything else was good I have a lot of energy I am worried about cancer
I was on a low carb diet before the first test I started eating more before second test I am worried

Your complete blood count is almost normal except total wbc count. It is slightly low. It can be due to normal variation or some subclinical infection.

It will be normal within few days. No need to worry about cancer at all.
