Question : hi Doc< every once and a while i get hiccups and when i do there pretty bad. today i had them and i started basically vommited very tary blood and alot of it< every time i hiccuped> please help< very scared

Hello,

Recurrent hiccups may cause a lots of strain on the mucosa of throat and esophagus.It may irritate the nerves along the esophagus and may cause vomiting.Excessive strain may breech up the mucosa and may cause bleed.
Visit a ENT doctor and get your throat checked up by laryngoscope.
Take tablet Baclofen 10mg to stop hiccups.
