Question : In my Annual Health Checkup Report 2018, AST=47 and ALT =56 , Albumin=34, and its very high i guess. Please assist what to do next .

Your liver enzymes are definitely above normal limits. But the numbers are not alarming. We do not consider such elevation as significant especially when you are asymptomatic.

You need not be concerned about these numbers. And therefore it doesn't need medical attention.

Hi,

Your lipids are deranged. There is elevation in all forms of lipids including HDL. It is not unusual to see such changes during pregnancy. I would not consider treatment for now. Since you are in third trimester and will be delivering soon, you can get the lipids checked again after 6 months - 1 year after delivery. If lipids level continue to be elevated, treatment should be started.

For now, I say, you need not be overly concerned. Have a safe delivery.
