Question : Dr. Eni. The vertigo has abated but the pain on my side, above the waist is still present. Don't know what else to do. My pcp didn't seem to be interested or concerned when I saw him. He suggested the x-ray of my ribs, which I did - x-ray looked okay. Never heard from my pcp again. So ,... maybe I shouldn't be concerned either. I just know it still hurts, off and on. Should I make an appt. with an internist? Thanks again for your help.

Brief Answer:

Yes, you need.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

you need to make blood analysis, check for leucocytes, hepatic transaminases.

you also need to make an ultrasound (eco-graphic) abdominal examination.

Have you had a high temperature?

Let me know what the internist will say.

Hope I have answered your query.
