Am I Having A Miscarriage?

i came off the mini pill over two months ago, I am now having my period but it feels very different, Blood is bright red and blotchy and my stomach cramps are excruciating. I have very bad indigestion also. Could this be a misscarriage and should i go and see my doctor.
