Bleeding After Normal Periods, Irritating Cervix. Blood Clots Seen When Gone To Restroom. Do I Need ER?

I had a colposcopy done on Dec. 3. I started a normal period and it seemed to have ended on Sunday/Monday. Yesterday around 5 I started bleeding extremely heavy, 3-4 super tampons in 45 minutes. I stopped using tampons and just used a pad incase I was irritating my cervix . I am not bleeding through my pads but every time I use the restroom I pass a large clot and there is quite a bit of blood , 6 in the past 2 hours. Do I need to got o the ER?
