Can Tamoxifen Cause Scleroderma And Hand Joint Pains?

I have been taking tamoxifen for just about 1 year after having been diagnosed with invasive intraductal carcinoma. I had neoadjuvant chemo followed by bilateral mastectomy followed by radiation to the affected breast. I started tamoxifen after RT was completed. Some months later, I had my breast exchange surgery. I ve had some other issues/complications in the process, but my question is regarding my hand joint pains. Initially, I had pain in my PIP joints ( before I started tamoxifen). The pain, stiffness and swelling were intense enough that I stopped wearing rings as I feared that I would have to go to the ED to have it removed. I saw a rheumatologist because my ANA was elevated. At that time the elevated ANA was thought to be related to my having completed chemo 6 months. My hand joints lessened with time when I was comfortable that I didnt have scleroderma, lupus, RA, etc. More recently, I m having pain in my DIP joints. My repeat ANA is pending. CanTamoxifen cause these symptoms? Also, my Oncologist is thinking about switching me to an aromataste inhibitor. Is that likely to worsen my pains?
