Can Abdominal Pain And Mood Swings Be Symptoms Of Menopause?

I'm 48 and 3 days late for my period. In the last 12 months, my cycle has been anywhere between 20 and 25 days, with my period lasting about 3 days (1 day heavy and 2 light days)
Since last week, I have been experiencing abdomen pain and mood swings. Could this be the onset of menopause?
