Can Crestor Cause Mid Cycle Bleeding?

Hello.
I am a 45 year old woman.
I started spotting between this menstrual cycle (for the first time ever) at 10 days in.
Then, about 5 days ago, I was switched from Lipitor 40 mg to Crestor 40 mg due to high family cholesterol.
Since the first day after starting the Crestor, I am now spotting again everyday.
I am due to start my cycle in 4 days.
Could Crestor cause mid cycle bleeding?
If so, it obviously doesn't explain the 10 day in bleed (wasn't on the Crestor then)
Periomenopause?
