Can Numb Thighs Be A Result Of Total Hysterectomy Surgery?

I had Da Vinci total hysterectomy on July 1 and tomorrow is my follow up appt. The front side of my left thigh goes numb or feels numb a lot of the time. Is this from my back or surgery??? I have not had past problems with my back or my thigh being numb.
