Can Ovarian Cysts That Cause Abdominal Numbness Be Removed?

Pearl like cysts have appeared on my ovaries one year ago. Now my joint between leg/abdomen feels almost numb after a few days of cramping. I'm broken out from head to bottom with acne. Can I just have these things removed? Doc said it might be PCOS. I also have connective tissue disease (maybe Lupus).
