Can Sudden Rise In Fetes Tsh Lead To Miscarriage?

My daughters tsh was 1 at 6 weeks. Now she is 10 weeks and the gyno called and said the tsh is 12. I know she needs an increase in medication but I am concerned about the damage it may have caused. I can t believe it went up so quickly. She has an appointment with endo tomorrow but I am hoping more medication can bring it down. Heartbeat was seen at 8 weeks. Is miscarriage inevitable?
