Can Wrong Treatment Cause Body Wastage?

Hi i had a friend whose daughter had frequent heavy nose bleed and bruising easily after a fall or a knock. She was diagnosed with Brain TB and was started on the treatment only to say later on that it was wrong diagnosis.When they got her off from all the treatment, her body started to go into wastage and and is unable to do anything or talk for now. What could be her problem ?
