Could Bloody Discharge Daily Be Menopause Related?

Hi I am 55 and have had a transvaginal scan showing a bulky and thickened uterus.My gp is not concerned but has referred be to a specialist who has carried out a biopsy. I have a slight brownish bloody show most days.Is this menopause related ?My blood test shows I am menopausal.
