Could Pain Under Right Shoulder Blade And Pain Under Ribcage Be Related?

I have been experiencing two seperate symptoms but I am not sure that they are not related. The first is a pulling pain under my right shoulder blade. It is not a constant pain but when I move to turn in bed at night or even any time I have to turn where it affects movement in the rib cage or shoulder area I feel it. This has been going on since October. The tightness of my bra can also bother it. The second is a pulling feel/slight pain in the front right side under my rib cage. This is not daily but it seems to happen after I have eaten, especially if I have a tighter fitting waist band on my pants. If I stand it is not as noticable but if I press on my side on that area it is tender. My question is can this be related and should I go get an x-ray?
