Could The Cysts On The Ovary Be Due To The Condition Of PCOD?

dear sir iam 27 years old unmarried i will get regular periods no pain 2 years back i had 8inch simple cyst in my right ovary.it is removed by laproscopy.now the ultrasound scan showing 4 small cysts in my right ovary my doctor said it is PCOD problem and suggested yamini birth control pills.is my condition PCOD? iam warrying about side effects.after one month iam going to marry.now shall take this pills
