Could The Dark Bruise On My Cheek Be A Result Of Colonoscopy?

hi I had a colonoscopy and have a dark bruise on my upper left cheek Looks like a very large thumb mark Could that be from a medical instrument or perhaps being held firmly as they were doing the procedure? I only noticed it when i got home. It is a very dark bruise. 5 days later its not paonful but it looks bad. The procedure itself went smoothly and I have a fantastic doctor.
