Could The Early Menstruation Be Menopausal Symptoms?

Hi i am 38 yrs old and for last two years have very sever PMS symptoms. I am on Pyricontin 10 days before expected dates of periods, which happens a week before every time for last 6 years. My period only happen for 2 days. I am a single mother of two and is planning to marry sometime next year and have a baby...i am worried as it is early menopause and i would like to control this.
