Could The Infertility Be Related To Meningococcal Infection?

Hi, just a quick question really. I had meningacoccal when i was 7 weeks old and almost died. I am now 20 years old. I was lucky to survive it with a just a funny eye and a short amount of deafness in my right ear. I have been trying to find out if having that condition could have caused me to be infertile as i have been with my partner for 2 years and we dont use any protection or birth control and i have never conceived. This bothers me as i have always wanted to start a family. I had irregular periods for over 5 years now and though i go to the doctors they dont seem to know what the problem is. They have given me all kinds of medication to regulate my periods as i know that if im irregular i have less chance of conceiving. Do you have any advice? Thank you Sherrie
