Could The Skipping Of Heart Beat Be Due To Menopause?

I am 52 years old I still have a regular period. During the past few months I have been having skipped heart beats on regular basis every 2 - 3 beats sometimes 24 hrs. daily. I noticed they were worse before my period. Could this be menopause. I have had a stress test, echo and ekg that were normal except showed left ventricular dysfunction. I am scheduled for a heart cath Weds. Do you think my problems are because of menopause.
