Could Vaginal Itching Be Due To Lichen Sclerosis?

I have had an external vaginal itch for almost two years. I have been treated with antifungal creams, topical corticosteroid, and two forms of yeast infection medication. Nothing helps for more than a couple weeks. The itching is so severe that I can't sit sometimes. My doctor said maybe lichen schlerosis but did not do a biopsy. I am thinking about seeing a determatologist. An ideas.
