Could Yellow Vaginal Discharge Be Related To Perimenopause?

Hi. I am a 47 year old perimenopausal woman. I have not been sexually active with anyone since July & before that it was only with my husband for 9 years. I have been having a yellow discharge coming out on my bladder pads & after sitting for a little while it turns graysh black. There is cancer that runs rampant in my family. I have a sister on stage 4 inoperable ovarian cancer as we speak. I have been told I have Colonic Inertia & Dr. wanted to remove my colon but said I was too high risk. My husband & I have been leaving my bladder pads lay for a while after removing them so we can watch & see what happens. As I stated it turns blackish. We are concerned it could be gangrene from my colon or possible cancer?
