Does Metropolol Has Any Strong Smell And Should I Be Concerned?

I. Picked up my metropolol from pharmacy and a strong smell emerged from pills. When I returned them, two pharmacists thought they smelled, however said that the main containers also smelled the same and not to be concerned. I have been taking this drug for 30 years and never had this smell. Should I be concerned?
