i am renal transplant recipient the first one in 1985 and the 2 in 2002. i am cyclosporine 75 mg ,azaron and prednisolne 10mg along withh anti hypertetnsives. hep B + known over 20 years. hep C+ since last transplnt. sr cr level is stable @1.1. LFT results have steadily improved over last 2 years with bilurubin and sgot/pt falling to normal levels without any treatment. docs here want to treat me for hep B. since it has been dorment over two decades, should i go for it . if yes what are the risks to my trnsplanted graft? looking forward for ur openion /councelling srinivasan, 22 09 2011
