Does Cocaine Abuse Cause Frequent Urinary Track Infection?

Prior to recovery, I was using cocaine. I was constantly diagnosed with urinary track infecctions. I was not sexually active so I could not understand why I constantly had urinary track infections. I was given the drug ciprofloxacin several times. My legs hurt and wrists seem to swell. I have COPD and the physician wanted to give me cipro again. But I told her I did not want it. Was it the use of cocaine or other things that caused the urinary track infection constantly? Is cipro good for COPD?
