Does Constipation Causes Delayed Periods?

I am almost a week late for my period, I have also been constipated. I am woundering if that would cause the late period? My husband and I have been trying to have a baby. I have taken clomid last month during my period. I took a test last week and it said that I wasn't, but i still have nothing. No discharg, cramping, nothing like i usualy get. I am a very regular when it comes to my period.
