Does Familon Help In Regulating Periods?

hi doctor I m 25yr and from one and half months I ve been bleeding continuously after my regular periods, in between bleeding was normal and sometimes little bit clots but still i am bleeding then i consult a doctor she suggested me femilon tab. but this femilon is birth control pills but i am bachelor and sexually not active. what should i do ? and how to recover from this problem????? please suggest
