Effective Medicine To Remove Fungal Infection On Scalp

Hi, my daughter of 11 has had a fungal infection on her scalp and lost a considerable amount of hair. We have been to our GP twice and they have prescribed Locoid Scalp Lotion and Ketoconazole Shampoo for her to use. Her head is much better and alot of new hairs are growing but she still has some bald spots and children at school are teasing her and calling her 'cancer girl' which is very upsetting Is there anything we can use to help with hair growth and are we using the right medication? Any assistance would be much appreciated, Karen
