How Can High Fever, Headaches And Weakness Due To Typhoid Be Treated?

I am a recovering typhoid patient (30 years of age, 6ft tall). Had it for about a week (usual symptoms: high fever, terrible headaches, weak, loss of appetite, etc), and it s been 10 days since I was discharged from the hospital. I m in good health, but under a strict diet and trying to get a lot of rest. I guess my question is: for someone who is recovering, 1 month down the line, what would be the ideal diet for me? I know spicy foods are off the table for a month or longer, but what would be ideal for someone who is relatively in the clear? I am more worried about my liver (considering all the stories I ve heard or read). I just want to make sure my liver gets back to its optimum health... what foods would help me ensure this? I also do drink (alcohol) once a week. I ve been told that this is not an option for a long time. How long is a long time ? My health comes first, but I am curious as to the time period I have to endure before I can start drinking again (once a week, NOT everyday). Thank you in advance for your time and help!
