How Long Doe The Side Affect Of Suboxone Last?

Hi, how long will my boyfriend experience the side affects of suboxone? he continues to puke shortly after every dose and cant sleep..so tired and no appetite. I m hopeful but starting to feel worried...he started 8mg Monday at 4:15 and his docter has instructed him to take one strip every 8 hours. We were told the side affects could last all week...I just wonder will he stop puking? be able to sleep eventually? eat?
