How Long Does Fibristal Take To Have An Effect On Bleeding And Pain Due To Vascular Fibroid?

Hi, I have a large, extremely vascular fibroid. I had serious, debilitating symptoms. I was put on Fibristal as of February 15, 2014, in the hope sod shrinking the fibroid and having a hystroscopic surgery in 3 months time. My doctor told me that the med would stop my cycle and bleeding altogether and it usually works very quickly. My period started yesterday (Feb. 20), and I ve been experiencing heavy bleeding and pain and bloating. It usually gets much worse at the end of the 2nd day and 3rd and 4th day, so, I am getting ready for the pain. Is hits normal? how long does Fibristal take to have an effect on bleeding and pain?
