How Safe Is Going For Exercision Of The Vaginal Cuff?

i have been diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia with atropia, and my hysterectomy was complete and radical. that was 7 1/2 years ago. I am now scheduled for a exercision of the vaginal cuff for pain during intercourse but mostly because of bleeding during intercourse. I am concerned that this operation will decrease the size of my vaginal walls so much that my husband will no longer find intercourse with me enjoyable.
