How To Clear A Patch On The Lower Leg?

I am a lady, 44, 1,55m tall, weight 62kg and had a history of STI some time between 1990 and 2000 ranging from gonorrhoea to herpes. All infections were cleared through extensive antibiotic treatement but herpes remained. I have almost accepted that I live with it. I get bouts of pain on my ovaries a week before my periods. Have been on treatment but it does not clear away. Now, I have developed a patch on the outer lower left leg. It started off pink and turned purple/blue after a while. At skin clinic I was told its ERYTHEMA NODOSUM. Medication given was Erythromycine 500mg, Ibuprofen 400mg and a bandage was applied. this did not help. I hate the look on my leg. what can I do to clear the dark colour and clear THIS THING? Please reply to my email address YYYY@YYYY
