How To Get Off Intake Of Nortryptiline Hydrochloride Tablets For TMJ?

I have been taking Nortryptiline Hydrochloride 75 mg once at bedtime for the last 6 years for my TMJ.For the last 5 months, I am taking one every other night.Too many side effects have been occuring.How do I properly get off these meds and what should I expect if I stop now?
