How To Heal Fallen Arch And Calcium Deposit Mediated Heel Pain?

I have had heel pain for 8 months now. I went to my doctor, my arches have fallen and I have calcium deposits on my heels, he said if I lose weight the pain will go away, the pain is so bad I am using a cane and I am afraid of what comes next because I cant take anymore pain.
