How To Stop Protruding Stomach After Total Hysterectomy?

Hi, I had a total hystrectomy and umbilical hernia repaired at the same time about 3 weeks ago. My stitches on the abdomen are in straight line and healing fine but my stitches above the umbilical are zigzag but I see my abdomen is protruding out on the left side above naval and inside the naval I see drainage and flesh from inside the naval is coming out. Can you tell me if this normal or Dr.has not repaired it correctly and how this could be fixed.
