How To Take Dicynone?

Hi! I have experiencing a menstruation with the period of 28-30 days, since October 23,2011 – November 23,2011. I when to obigyney doctor and she examine me and informing that they need to get my blood for pregnancy and hemoglobin exam and Pap smear test after my menstruations. And she prescribe me medicine of Vitamin C and dicynone 500mg –she inform me that twice a day morning ang evening but I forgot to question her what is that medicine so my question to you is what is dicynone??Do I will take that after or before my menstruation?
