How To Treat A Wrist Vein Swelling Caused By An Accident?

Hi, I was cleaning and a small speaker fell and hit the inside of my wrist, right on the vein. My vein is swollen up a good size and hurts a little. I put ice pack on it. Should I go see a Dr? I am 54 years old 160lbs. The swelling has gone down some since the ice pack was on it.
