How To Treat Cold And Wet Hands?

Hello there! Wow. Didn t expect to be able to ask someone directly! I am a Mom of two boys, and my younger son just had a cyst taken off the back of his hand on Wednesday by a hand surgeon. (Cyst caused by skin cells getting under the skin and growing into this clear/white marble shaped ball) My question is that he keeps telling me that it feels cold and wet . His hand is bound quite a bit and we are supposed to take it off in a 3-5 days. I know there are five stitches. My husband and I are wondering whether we should unwrap it early; just curious and concerned about the cold feeling. I can call the doctor, but thought I would google this to see what I could find, and found you. So Thanks. Mama Amy from the Boston area.
