How To Treat Spotting Post Sex?

I had a LEEP in Feb of 2010 for abnormal pap (I am 41 and this was the third time they found abnormal cell at a Pap). At my anual Pap last week, my Dr could see a 4-5 mm black leision on my cervix and if referring me to a OBGYN. Unfortunately I can't get in to see the Dr she recommended ( and who performed the LEEP) until Jan 6. Should I wait that long or try to get an earlier appointment with another Dr? Symptoms include thicker discharge than normal, spotting after having sex and tenderness after sex.
