How To Treat The Irregular Periods?

hi , my names sunni and ive had irregular periods for almost 3 years now, i havnt seen a doctor about it because i feel wierd talking about those things with anyone , but me and my boyfriend have tried having a baby for the past 8 months now. AND NOTHING SEEMS TO BE WORKING, im 17 but i have everything in my life ready for a baby , but i need help trying to find answers ./ please and thankyou
